#1 Post by Tunde » Tue Apr 08, 2014 8:38 am

Hello to all of you.

I am new to bow making this does not wipe the idea out of my mind to make a bow. I need a Hickory wood. I picked up from a few posts many of you use the pick handle from Bunnings. I did checked the wood out myself but I need a much thicker wood ( kind of double in thickness what is available) Can I have a help where can I buy thick Hickory wood? I tried some american supplier but could not find the one who sells just a few. I am not stick to Au company to buy american just as good long as they ship here.

Please help. Thank you

I got a stave of hickory at Otto's in Adelaide recently. 1800 x 45 x 45 mm. Cost $110
