Javaman Helms deep

#1 Post by flyne » Mon May 27, 2013 6:58 am

Well mid last week I got up to a knock at the door to be greated by the postman with a parcel for me and when I opened it my new static tip from javaman was inside. I finely got to shoot it properly at my local club yesterday for a 3d shoot and got a new PB of 310 for the 3 arrow round and 298 for the 1 arrow round that's over 70pts up on my previous personal best per round out of a bow that I still haven't tuned and have only shot 12 arrows out of before the shoot. It was a absolute pleasher dealing with Greg during the build and his work is awesome.

The specs are 56" 70#@29 2pc bow bolt

Awesome! I have a Little Favourite just like it (65#).
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

That looks amazing.
I need to try one of these.
What options are there for the grip?
Common sense; so rare it should be considered a superpower.

Thanks guys shipping on the 2pc was only $60 and Greg custom built up the grip to be spot on for me over what would have been at least 50 emails and he nailed it and Ben I was thinking the same
Cheers jim

Nice bow, and it seems to be working for you. Greg builds great bows at good price. I wouldn't mind trying out his Tanjavur RC :wink:

The riser is phonolic for the extra strength needed for a bow bolt
