Re: Arrow Grippers and hip quiver pattern
If you use contact adhesive and glue thongs ( Not G-Strings) together and hack it into shape for the padding.
Leather is usually readily available on the net.
Hang a template take an educated quess for the template, you might surprise yourself. Use beer cartons for template material or a prototype before hacking into valuable leather. Works for me

Re: Arrow Grippers and hip quiver pattern
Good old pluggers make the basic piece of the arrow gripper very well, the trick is how do you attach it to your hip quiver. Cant help you there sorry Tony because I've only used them for replacement parts for bow quivers that already have a metal track to support the rubber.

The fun part of that Hazard is emptying the beer cartons. Yell out if you need some help, I will do what I can from my end of the country. .

Re: Arrow Grippers and hip quiver pattern
Thanks guys fishing rod holders good idea.I notice on my hunting around some grippers must have screw holes therefore a copper rivets or boston screws will work, others are sewn into leather with a back strip of leather
Rob I have those plans too there are a few more in the series from memory.
I have done years(too many) of leatherwork so i can create a pattern but thought maybe someone had one completed. I can even remember when leather was cheap not any more.
Thanks

I may have missed something but are Selway's own 4,5 and 6 arrow clips unsuitable for your requirements?
