#1 Post by Jeffro » Mon May 21, 2012 6:03 pm

Been meaning to make one for years and never got round to it.

What the heck is that thing at the bottom?

Lovely bow rack mate. I really like that you used recycled goods too.

It's actually a pretty cool little bow. do you still use it?

Is there a mixture of right and left-handed bows? Can you use both?

Nice work Jeff,
I've been needing one of these for a awhile.

Need to keep an eye out during the next council tip.

Excellent re-use of resources, Jeffro! Well done. I really should get around to doing the same for my bows.

Good Work Jeffro, great recycling of Junk into a usefull item.

Back in the late 70's early 80's those Browning Nomads where a pretty popular little Bow. I always wanted one of those Browning Cobra's, tiny lightweight, one piece and no draw weight adjustment, only limited draw length adjustment on the eccentrics.

Back then there was Recurve to Compound Conversion Kits available so you could saw off your Recurve, drill some holes in the limbs and bolt on a set of Hanger Brackets and eccentric wheels. Now days there is Conversion Kits available to convert Compound Risers into T/D Recurve Bows, talk about full circle.

How could one forget the Ridgid Hunter, as in made by the Ridgid Tool Company, steel limbs, bloody shocking things, ducked every time I walked past one incase it blew up, no chance of recycling one of those POS.
