Gringa Fever spreads to the family.

#1 Post by Nutgrass » Sat Mar 31, 2012 8:36 pm

Well with Gringa fever being rampant in my life for the last couple of years, it was sure to spread to the family.
I asked the big fella to make a couple of kids bows for me & he was on a roll so the wife ended up with one as well.

The kids were consulted & it was clear. My young fella wanted a bow just like mine & pointed to the Red Belly Black hanging on the wall.

The daughter was adamant she wanted pink, so after I asked here & followed a link (Thanks Kimall) I placed an order for a piece of Raspberry twist dymondwodd.

The young fella 12# @ 20", the daughters, 17# @ 20", Mums bow was 32# at 28".

It's been a little crazy here since, if I am not at work, I seem to be watching as the kids & wife shoot.

Anyway, enough of me belting on, here they are.

The daughters bow.

So with a full set of Gringas, well nearly, once the youngest daughter is old enough & if she follows suit I guess there will be another one to make !
But there are arrows being flung every afternoon & everyone, well dad seems to be getting warn down, but everyone else is having fun

Thanks Rod, all the hard work was worth it mate, they love them !!!!!!!!

That's gold, mate! Good onya the both of ya's for getting your family involved and for making them bows!
Lately, if life were treating me any better, I'd be suspicious of it's motives!
