I shot some of Nuts' pretty arras last week, and the fact is, matched with the right bow(say...MINE! ) they fly like darts! Fair dinkum, they fly as good as they look!
Lately, if life were treating me any better, I'd be suspicious of it's motives!

Been a bit slow in the cresting department. But a couple of updates.

These five were the gold capped arrows that the gold paint let go on, I sanded them back & had another go  At least they are staying together this time 8)

Second set are the other half to the red dozen, the ones that I had trouble with the yellow paint  Anyway, far from perfect with that little drama, but I am only going to smash them I suppose

The arras are top notch, Nuts, but the bow in the last pic is what really caught my eye! She's so sexy! Does she talk about me when I'm not around?

She does mate, every time we speak your name she cringes & goes on about your stinky smokers breath, how you touch her on the tips & try to talk about dirty disgusting & just plain rude shoots with her.
I mean by all means mate, you keep your chin up, but she only has her sights set on targets for me

Mate, mate, mate, that's just what I told her to say so you don't get suspicious! I would have thought a young fella with your experience would have been awake to that! You should hear what she says about you when we're out West and her and I slip away for a bit of sneaky quiet time flingin' arras (usually your arras, too!) together while your ignoring her and paying attention to your other bows! Apparently you make her watch online clips of "Masters of the Barebow" and she feels cheap, 'cause you want her to behave like the...AHEM, more "experienced"... bows in 'em! That's just plain creepy, Nuts!

Now I wasn't going to post these up, with the level of arrows been shown around here of late, mine look very amateur, but I figured what the hell. It's the only way to get better

So here are my latest. They are all port orford cedar. 23/64. 75-80# 190 grain tips.

I did them in lots of six, mainly because I wanted to try different stains & colours to see what worked best for future efforts. So they are done in 4 lots of 6 8)

Firstly, a set of flu flu's for the Muster next week 8)

Then comes the AUTUMN range  :surprised:

Rob, hope you don't mind me putting your bows to use as props  8)

All comments appreciated 8)

Thanks for looking 8)

Forgot to mention something Gidget...????

These arrows have been referred to "in the shed" - as his "AUTUMN RANGE"

They are a great looking selection of arrows!!! ...my personal favourites are the ones in the 2nd photo with the walnut stain. I think I might have to get one of those cresting jigs very soon.
