Bingham's Projedt

#1 Post by Alex » Wed Jul 19, 2023 12:00 pm

Hi there....
It's been sometime since my last bow building adventure...
So I decided to build a new bow.....
Went to Bingham's website and started looking for what I need......started noticing the lack of lots of materials....like black glass , certain wood laminations , riser blocks in certain woods....
Sent a e-mail and they said they are closing......
Anyone chasing their materials in other places ?
Glass and wood laminations ?
Alex.

Hi Alex,

You could try Ausbow Industries. https://www.ausbow.com.au/bowmaking

In the past he was more expensive than importing supplies from the USA but with a poorly performing AU dollar and high international shipping costs he may be competitive.

Alex.
That is sad to hear after all these years. They certainly were the main stay of a lot of bow makers over the years.
