"VA Hardwood Arrow Shafts"

#1 Post by Stickbow Hunter » Mon Apr 25, 2005 9:58 pm

Good heavy hardwood arrow shafts made from Victorian Ash. They are very tough and make great hunting arrows.

They are available in 23/64" from around the 60# spine upwards to about 80 - 85# spine. They are now also available in 5/16" in spines from 45# up to 60 - 65#.

These shafts are hand spined!!!

The cost is great at only $2.00 a shaft plus postage.

They are available from "VA Hardwood Shafts" in Maryborough Queensland. Contact Keith Forrester after hours until 9.00 pm on 07 4123 3797.

Give Keith a ring. His shafts are excellent.

just got my 2 dozen 5/16" shafts from keith today, and i must say they are really excellent quality. they all come within 20grs of each other, which i feel is plenty consistent for my liking. they are all quite straight for wood shafts, and won't take much work to fully straighten before i start making them into arrows. :D
