Vortex Binos are top quality as well

I admit to being biased - I am the Aussie distributor  8)

Local shop here sells them for double that...and I had to save some dollars...

They're good binoculars alright. I checked a pair out at a local dealers a while back and I was very impressed with the quality of the image. They had excellent light gathering capabilities too, as I recall. I was in the shop just on dusk, so I took them outside, it was pretty dark, but I could see as clear as day.

I took the plunge and bought myself a pair of good binoculars too, not that long ago. I ended up spending over $600 on a pair of 8x32 Steiner roof prisms. These ones are a bit smaller than your's, but they're still excellent to use.

I was a bit worried about buying camo binoculars. I reckoned I'd probably put them down somewhere and lose them. :)

There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.
