#1 Post by Guy Layton » Sun Oct 07, 2018 2:17 pm

Hey guys,

I’m looking at upgrading old Magellan Exporist 600...
Just wondering what everyone maybe using these days...
Or the latest and greatest...
Cheers Guy
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is no where as important as being able to place it in the correct spot....!

Hey Guy, we've been using the Garmin Rino 750. Great unit, is a 5w UHF and GPS in one. Has the ability to message between units and show others location on map. My mate and I hunt Vic high country chasing Sambar and its handy to know each others location or send a simple message. Admittedly the UHF isn't fantastic in the mountains at times but good for what we do.

Maps are fast and easy to use.

Cheers Muz
