I wish we could see the shot & Mr. Youngs form better! Cool, though.
Lately, if life were treating me any better, I'd be suspicious of it's motives!

Looked like there were three shots , but it was hard to tell .
Maybe that was what Kerrille was alluding to .

That's why the early bow hunters are true pioneers of the sport. Thanks for posting the link I really enjoyed it.

I have to Hugh; it is a good video. There is good footage of him shooting a grizzly as well - amazing!

There are people who still do - they just do not write about it. Plus the concept of heading into the Wilderness and "Living off the Land" is foreign to most of the population.

Even simple things like travelling down a river by boat seems to difficult for many people to come to grips with. Most people want a Caravan (Air-Conditioned with powered site) and 4WD to go "camping". There are lots of "Adventures" available you just need the time and "courage" to head off on them. The majority of people who head "off the beaten track" these days are the fishermen.

Gnome, 3Rivers has it. It's a gem of a film, alright.
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

Well, other than making a boat out of the hide, wearing buckskins and using a birch bark call (I use my hands) we still hunt moose that way! :)
