Hawkesbury Field Archers-Get Together 2008

#1 Post by Jeffro » Sun Aug 10, 2008 3:23 pm

The once a year shoot is on again soon at the hawkesbury archey range wisemans ferry and I am looking forward to it.
Its a 2 day event and its well worth going for the variety and different scenery that the club grounds present.
The last 2 years were very enjoyable shoots and im told there is more variety this year.
Anyway check it out and come along to make it even better than before. The more the merrier.

Do we need flu-flu's for any of the events?

Thanks John,

I have flu-flus but they are in need of some TLC. I have had them a while and they are just getting a bit worn looking - I like to use them shooting around the paddock at home and with the students on the range at school because they are more visible when lost in the grass. They are still fine to shoot, just need a couple of new points, and a bit of wax on the shaft to make them look respectable again.

Any one bringing a chrony?

Want to do a gold coin entry fastest bow?
Slowest gets 20% fastest gets 70% the club gets the rest?
Sorry Robert, bit rude of me not to ask you....just an idle thought....I desperately want to see how fast the new bow Steve made for me is.
I have spent all but 5 days out of the last 60 overseas or interstate for work and really need to pluck a few arras.

I have a chrony and am happy to bring it along. I must make a shield for it, lest it rest in peice next to Tim Baker's :(

I don't know Robert, but I am sure he wouldn't mind. It will give us plenty to discuss at dinner.
