Morning Hue

Not so much a Janis fan as the band was part of the revolution or at least substantial change in music. I can still remember when and where I first heard "Cheap Thrills". And I have a copy of "Pearl" - but I have no idea why I have - it might have been a freebie from some record promotion. Joplin died in 1970 - 38 years ago.

"Lord won't you buy me a Mercedes-Benz, my friends all drive Porsches ....."

Now what about Fairport Convention and Sandy Denny - time for a seperate thread ...

Hi Hue and Rod

Yeah... Get back on topic.

This will keep you amused for an hour or so and get you warmed up for the event as well.
