Vote to retain duck hunting!

#1 Post by erron » Thu Jan 20, 2005 7:27 pm

Please urgently respond to the ABC link below, look for the question of the
week on the home page.

Should duck hunting be banned YES OR NO.

Shortcut to: http://www.abc.net.au/riverland/

The following has occurred and we need to get as many hunters as possible, VOTING.

The ABC Riverland was contacted by The Coalition Against Duck Shooting complaining that the poll was biased.

Apparently, the ABC Riverland then contacted FGA to inform them that the POLL had been closed after the complaint and the fact that they had not receceived so many responses ever on a particular issue..

This morning to our horror, we find that the poll is still going and the NO Vote is 81% (down from 97% last night) and the YES vote has climbed to 18%.

I suspect that the Animal Libbers have been multi voting (YES you can vote more than once, if you know what to do!!!!) and been at it all night.

Get in there and VOTE NO!!!!!!

Tell all your hunting mates to vote!!!!!!

Please urgently respond to the ABC link below, look for the question of the
week on the home page.

Should duck hunting be banned YES OR NO.

The question of the week was about cricket so I guess we can't vote on the duck hunting now? :?

I got sent this message from a member of the Feild and Game association.

The response to the Riverland ABC website 2 day straw poll 'Should duck hunting be banned in the riverland & Mallee - YES OR NO.' Last count 2160 hits 20% YES 79% NO 1% UNDECIDED.

A great result,
Daryl

  :D

I've actually got more tradbows than compounds..sometimes, I get the tradgear bug and don't touch my compound for a while but i keep on going back and forth. I cant hunt with them yet though as havn't got my aba proficency certificate for recurve and longbow, will have to make it to the club for once.

I hadn't shot em for a while since i've only got one arra thats long enough..will hav to buy a few..

If you blokes know someone who could make up some wood arrows please let me know. just after 6-12 wood arrows with feathers (nothing fancy) and a string. Just send a message

cheers,
Pete F.
