is this over stepping the mark?
The degree of satisfaction gained from the accomplishment of a goal is directly proportional to the hardships and challenges overcome in order to achieve it.

Nup. I don't have one, but I sure am thinking about it. I think it would help me learn more about wildlife habits, and I just love wildlife photographs, and this is another way to capture some magic images.
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

They're not something I would use but I have nothing against those who choose to use them.

Guides find them magic, they can tell what areas are active before they take clients out.
I just walk and use the old eyeball method of finding game.
Seen some pretty interesting photos taken with the hi-res ones, they where doing a study on effective baiting techniques on one of the properties I hunt and there was one photo of two eagles fighting over a bait that was magic (I am trying to get a copy of it).

in my opinion it's not really hunting, sort of like cheating, so i would say it is over stepping, but JMOclinton miller wrote:is this over stepping the mark?

Same, for someone who doesn’t have the luxury of a more experienced hunter or just scouting a new area I say go for it!Stickbow Hunter wrote:They're not something I would use but I have nothing against those who choose to use them.

I don't have one and probably won't get one but I've always thought they would be good to find out when game are coming onto the dams to drink in hard hunted areas , I don't have any problem with them at all
