I'd like to add to this, I have a copy of "Hit The Mark!" by Paul Comstock to pass on. It was very kindly sent to me by someone here and it's time I did the same. Just send me your address and I'll mail it on to you.

I have had the pleasure of reading "The Traditional Bowhunters Handbook"

By T.J. Conrads, which i found very informative and a good introduction

into the history and the how to's of traditional bowhunting....

Looking forward to the chance of reading "Campfire Reflections" at some stage..

Cheers Guy..

Gday Hue,

Sorry mate, but the book is no longer in my possession as I have returned

it to the owner late last year...

If you really want to get your hands on it, I will do my best to get a hold of it for you...

Cheers Guy..

To make up for the my laziness in reading the book in my possession i will put up one of my own:

Archery Fundamentals

Image

Not alot about tradititional archery but if you are new then this will be a great help.

"Head to the range with the skills to hit the bull’s-eye. Archery Fundamentals will have you shooting on target in no time.

Instruction in all the essentials--from stringing the bow through the anchor to learning aim, grip, and release--will put your technique right on the mark. Sequential instructions and accompanying photographs will guide your execution through every phase of the shot.

In addition, you’ll find inside tips for choosing and maintaining equipment as well as using accessories to improve your accuracy with both recurve and compound bows. You’ll also discover how to use arrow patterns to correct errors. And, if you want to compete, you’ll appreciate the recommendations for entering and participating in archery tournaments.

Archery Fundamentals is a better, faster way to learn the basics. With this book, you’ll have as much fun learning the art of shooting as you’ll have hitting your mark consistently."

hey Toby

any archery coach that still uses the term "hit the bulls-eye" isn't worth jack! :)
IMHO only.

Haha no worries, i only really bought it for the accuracy and improving performance, has a few good chapters on troubleshooting grouping problems. Not alot else, mainly compound and fiberglas stuff.
Cheers, Toby
