NSW Game Council Bowhunting Workshop

#1 Post by The Gnome! » Wed Mar 12, 2008 1:06 pm

NSW Game Council is looking to run a two day bowhunting workshop similar to the Bondi deer hunting workshop we have been running for several years now. We sent out invitations to the AHO's but have not had a great response. We are holding a forum this Saturday the 15th from 11am to lunch time at Camden south of Sydney to establish the broad outline of the content of the workshop, purpose being to tailor this to the needs of the bowhunting community. We will then task variuos groups / individuals with filling in the detail. Any of you experienced bowhunters out there keen to give us a couple of hours of your time?

DIRECTIONS TO WILDLIFE HEALTH AND CONSERVTION CENTRE (WHCC)

If coming from Sydney take the M5 motorway to the Camden Valley Way exit. Follow the Camden Valley Way through Leppington until you see Cobbitty Road on the RHS. Take that turn and follow Cobbitty Rd to a T-Intersection with the Northern Rd which comes down from Penrith. Turn left and about 200 metres down turn right again into Cobbitty Rd.

Follow Cobbitty Rd through Cobbitty, passing the Cobbitty shop on the RHS and then Cut Hill Rd also on the RHS. Continue through Cobbitty to the bridge over the Nepean River, past Cobbitty Winery on the LHS.. Turn left at the T-intersection over the bridge into Werombi Rd and at the top of the hill you enter the campus area, with the main vet hospital on the LHS. The WHCC is about 100m further on the RHS at 405 Werombi Rd.
