I'm a proud Poppy!!!

General discussions. Politics, scuttlebutt, whatever: you're getting married, changing jobs, got a gripe or a compliment, dying to get out with the bow etc.....

I'm a proud Poppy!!!

#1 Post by Stickbow Hunter » Tue Nov 11, 2003 6:52 pm

G'day All,

Been away for awhile as we've been kinda busy. It was a good kinda busy though!

Our daughter Becky and her husband Terry welcomed the arrival of their first bubs and Jude's and my first grandchild. Her name is Gracie Liana. She was born 1st November, a little earlier than expected due to some complications. Thankfully both of them are now safe and doing well.

We all think Gracie is adorable and we love her so much. We really thank God for her safe arrival. We feel really blessed.

I look forward to one day showing her the great Aussie bush.

Just wanted to let you all know the good news and say that Poppy is very proud of his new little granddaughter. :D

The photo is of Gracie and me when she was about two hours old.

Jeff

You are indeed blessed, Jeff!

Let me be the first to welcome Ozbow's first baby huntress to the scene :D

Congrats to Becky and Terry, also to yourself and Jude.

Gracie Liana: beautiful names, too! :)

Best wishes to all,

Erron

Congratulations to you and yours Jeff - great news!
Wonder who will be the first to express relief she didn't take after you in the looks department - definitely not me!
Seriously - glad Mum and bub are doing well and God bless!

Thanks everyone for your kind words. I too am glad she doesn't look like her Poppy. I'm sure we will all have plenty of time to spoil her. At the moment we are just enjoying having her so much!
