Finnish Mid-Summer Festival

#1 Post by Torsten » Fri Jun 22, 2007 8:54 pm

OK here we are again, the famous Finnish mid-summer festival. There will be about 5 millions of people on the lakes, bloody drunk and quite a few may be transferred to the kingdom of perch...

I do not recall what year but one year in the eighties 5 million finns drank 19 million bottles of the famous finnish vodka, 38% alcohol, half liter bottles. 21 people drowned, 3 stebbed 2 killed in traffic accidents. Old tradition!

The funny point: in Sweden drink at least as much, have more lakes, are 9 million people and only the half of people will drown.

Well, normally they are men and when they are found the zipper is open!

So close your zipper.

I may keep you updated...

4 left to the "kingdom of perch" one of them jumping head first into very shallow water.
3 died in car accidents
one was successfully shot
3 were burned in a tent

Who was sober? Well this is a difficult question hehehehehehe.
