New Bow

#1 Post by memo » Sat Feb 17, 2007 1:14 pm

Just thought I’d share with you guys my new bow. It is an ‘Arctic Fox’ by Fox Archery 53# @28. It is a two piece sleeve takedown with a locator grip, and is deflex/reflex when unstrung. The riser is Cocolobo and the limbs are bamboo with a veneer of Juniper on the front of the limbs.

How does it shoot? In a word - sensational. It spits the arrows noticeably quicker than my osage longbow. I also find the locator grip easier to shoot than the traditional straight grip, I’m more consistent with it.

I bought the bow from Crowcreek, and recommend him to anyone else looking to buy one of his bows.

Hope you like it.

I was wishing I had the funds to buy this bow when it was up for sale a while back. I looks fantastic and it was a very reasonable price, I thought.

I'm glad it has gone to someone who can appreciate it.

Very nice mate!!

Mick
There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

Nice little bow Memo. It's good to see a straight limb bow for a change. :D

It would be deflex/reflex untrung.

Happy shooting.

Jeff
