Bow Design - Limb Angle

#1 Post by GrahameA » Sun Sep 24, 2006 2:45 pm

Hi All

This is a question for the bow designers or those who know a bit about the design of modern recurves.

For a standard FITA recurve, what is the angle that the limbs are laid back at?

If the limbs are interchangable then this angle should be, more or less, the same for all bows that accept ILF limbs.

I did a few measurements off my Yamaha and the results are suggesting 15 deg from the horizontal.
