TBGA - Offline over weekend

#1 Post by Archon » Fri Oct 07, 2005 5:45 pm

I know a lot of people here also stop by TBGA, just wanted to let you know the site will be down over the weekend. (Hope you dont mind Erron?)

Basically due to poor admin at the domain registry which I can not fix until normal business hours on Monday. No major problem but the site will likely be offline for the weekend.

Appologies for the Inconvienience.

Bear,

Will be offline with an ETA of mid afternoon tomorrow. Nothing drastic just making some changes for security and in preparation of linking a new domain address to the old one ie something shorter for our advertising.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

The site down more time’s than a bride’s nighty!

I think your service provider who could supply enough bandwidth to run the site side by side until you made changes is a bit on the slack side.

See ya Pete.

Guys,

The problem is not with the host its with the domain registry, I have organised to have it transfered so that this will not happen again.

But the company that previously had it has again made some admin bungles so that instead of it being offline over night like I was promised it has taken days.

I am doing this to finally be rid of the the legacy of bungles that has plauged us. Once I finally mange to get this sorted we should be free of these down times.

Personally I appologise for the delay, but at this stage all I can do is call several times a day and follow up with emails and faxes being annoying.

I hope not, every time it is Ozbow blows it's bandwidth and we get taken offline until I suck up to the host to let us back in

Seriously, I just tried the link above and it worked okay...
