Arm Brace

General discussions. Politics, scuttlebutt, whatever: you're getting married, changing jobs, got a gripe or a compliment, dying to get out with the bow etc.....

Arm Brace

#1 Post by greybeard » Sun Feb 02, 2020 3:43 pm

Roadie asked me to post the following article.

“Here are some photos of my arm and elbow support, I made this to support my arm and elbow due to the on going pain of arthritis, and I now use a modern release Aid with my Primitive Bow.

I used some Hockey shin Pads, modified with angle grinder and have fitted Velcro straps and stainless steel strips to fit my weakened left elbow and arm.”

Cheers Roadie.

"And you must not stick for a groat or twelvepence more than another man would give, if it be a good bow.
For a good bow twice paid for, is better than an ill bow once broken.

That’s awesome! Adapt, overcome and keep watching arrows sing through the air :)
