Perhaps the ladies were ambidextrous and had left and right hand clamps.

“By the company's 50th anniversary (1988) it had 350 employees and $100 million in payroll. That year, the company presented Governor Bill Clinton with the six millionth bow and 200 millionth arrow manufactured.”

Daryl, I was meaning all the arrows are facing to the left so the women would use their right hand to place the clamps on the jigs. As a left hander I would have the arrows facing to the right. :)

When fletching my arrows right wing setup the shaft points to the right. I hold the clamp in the left hand and apply the glue with the right hand. Having the jig pointing to the right makes it easy to place the clamp in position.

Daryl.
