Anyone interested in a new recurve...?

General discussions. Politics, scuttlebutt, whatever: you're getting married, changing jobs, got a gripe or a compliment, dying to get out with the bow etc.....

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is no where as important as being able to place it in the correct spot....!

Hey Guy,
One of my mates has one. The detail is incredible and the closer you look, the more you see. The craftsmanship is incredible and you rarely see anything like it these days.
It's obviously not something you shoot all the time, but it's proved to be a wise investment by my mate as the price has already gone up nearly $2000.
Here's a slideshow of his bow

I have a new phone now , so I don't have any pictures of it, but I'll definitely take my camera next time and get some good pics of it.
The inlaid silver on the riser nearly glowed in the natural light , it was stunning.

Hey Guy,
next time I see you(Andy Firth mem at Wisemans?) I can show you a new bow that
-looks better than a Blacktail or Black Widow..amazing craftsmanship
-outstanding pereformance...at #45 it outshoots by far my #50 Gamemaster!
-and what you'd love...is SUPER SUPER quiet, perfect for hunting
-are a true custom bow...wide choice of woods and combos for risers and limbs, exact weight you want at your exact draw length, tillered as you want for split finger or 3finger under
-and cost less than ordinary standard BW or Blacktails....
It has become my favourite so much that I have not shot any of my other bows since it arrived, which is really saying something.Just have to be patient for about 12 months

It is a Cari-bow Taiga static tip recurve made by Abe Penner in Canada who has been making and refining his craft for about 30 years.Check out the website and start craving as I did, also check out YouTube review and his testimonials page....I found nothing but high praise for his bows and NONE ever for sale second hand and I can now fully understand why.I have just done the Broken Hill,Mildura,Swan Hill circuit and been outscoring people who I previously struggled to stay with and all this with a quiet absolute eye candy bow.I cannot praise Abe's quality craftsmanship enough. Will be at Wisemans this week-end so hope to see you all, cheers
