General discussions. Politics, scuttlebutt, whatever: you're getting married, changing jobs, got a gripe or a compliment, dying to get out with the bow etc.....

Hey all.
Thought I would introduce myself on here. My name's Jerome. I live in the South East, South Australia. Been into archery for about 12 years (Thanks Lord of the Rings!), origionally olympic recurve, then to longbow (cartel viper was my first), then 2 months with compound, then back to traditional with the Flatline Mc2. :) I hunt rabbits and foxes occationally. Never been to a trad shoot, but hope to get to one soon. :)
Cheers all.

G'day Jerome,

Welcome. Check out the Traditional Archery Events section for flyers to the Trad shoots at Broken Hill, Mildura, and Swan Hill. Perhaps you may be able to make one of these your inaugural shoot. :)

cheers

well I guess in the scheme of this wide brown land of ours 6 hour drive is reasonably close. Mt Gambier to Mildura... Roadie runs a great Trad shoot - well worth the drive - even from Qld. :)

cheers

Had a good chat to Roadie today. Very keen to try and make it to the shoot if I can. :) Missus and I have just had our first kid, so might be a bit of a struggle, but will see how we go. Hahaha!
