New kid on the block

General discussions. Politics, scuttlebutt, whatever: you're getting married, changing jobs, got a gripe or a compliment, dying to get out with the bow etc.....

New kid on the block

#1 Post by Hobo » Tue Dec 22, 2015 8:19 am

Hi everyone just registered onto this forum. Currently I shoot a compound bow however I am in the process of building my first recurve bow using Australian Timbers.
I'm relatively new to archery as I only got into archery 2 years ago and I'm having a ball, wished I had got into archery sooner. Currently I'm a member of Southern Field Archers in Adelaide and surprisingly I won the runner up trophy in 3D last year and this year I won the perpetual trophy; so I'm wrapped as this is the first time I have actually won a trophy.
Looking forward to building the recurve and shooting bare.
Cheers Hobo
