different divisions ?

General discussions. Politics, scuttlebutt, whatever: you're getting married, changing jobs, got a gripe or a compliment, dying to get out with the bow etc.....

If the bows are selfbows they are definitely "trad", yew recurve bows were in vogue in Europe over 3000 years ago.

i can't see any problems concerning curves in that pic. they all seem to be curved in the right places.

Looks like both have little to no string on the belly - there-for I'd call it a deflex-reflex.

For me a recurve is a deflex-reflex design with the string laying along the belly.

Both are equally trade IMO.... :Bow :Sleep

I'll play. Yes they are Trad bows!!!

Can never know if the artist has drawn this with accuracy or not but I can see a couple of unusual things.

Firstly the two bows being shot are drawn as reflex/deflex in design and not deflex/reflex as some say above. The limbs reflex from the handle area. They appear to be semi-recurves. The bow that the other woman is holding has straight limbs.

None of the bows appear to be long either.

The wearing of dresses [for the ladies] may add some 'class' to the event.

Daryl all the men must be at the bar drinking rum. Observation/ the lady in the dark dress centre has her arrows tucked in her rear bun while the other two centre Ladies are both wearing back quivers very interesting.
