Sending longbow interstate ????

General discussions. Politics, scuttlebutt, whatever: you're getting married, changing jobs, got a gripe or a compliment, dying to get out with the bow etc.....

Sending longbow interstate ????

#1 Post by Buranurra » Sun Oct 04, 2015 10:59 am

Hi all,

Some may have noticed I am selling my Tolke Whip

Does anyone know approximate cost to send a 1 piece from Perth to the East - ball park figures are totally fine.

I would probably use pack and send as they are excellent, but their online calc won't estimate such an obscure package, and trying to find out asap to answer a message about my bow.

Cheers

i have sent longbows to most parts of Aus; and prices can vary wildly but a ball park figure might be around the $40 mark depending on whether you wanted insurance etc.I have sent longbows to USA for anything from $65 - $80. Google price comparison for couriers and check them out.

I have used them on several occasions. It will also make your options greater and cheaper IF either your sending address or receiving address is considered 'business'.

Under some circumstances, you can get Auspost to deliver longer items than 1.2M, but it is a lucky dip, and depends on the operator you get, and only from an Auspost agent.
