New bow

#1 Post by toby » Tue Oct 28, 2014 9:50 pm

I am in the process of setting up a 17" Morrison Phenolic Riser with Border Hex 6 limbs, after playing around with Ilf bows for the last year or so this will be my first experience with a Das limb connection system. It's an all black bow & looks kinda cool.
Will post some photos on the weekend after I get her up & running.

Hi Kerry
As you would expect there very nice , fast & quiet limbs.
Stringing them is easy in the sense that there brace height is lower than most limbs so you don't have to load the limbs up as much. But You really Can't use a tip to tip type stringer as you run a large risk of the bow trying to turn itself inside out. Brace height on the sky riser was about 6 1/2 inches so I had to start using an arm guard with them & 4 inch feathers.
