I absolutely love flying, in fact sometimes I go by plane !!!
The smaller the plane the better the experience bumping down bush runways etc, but arm chair comfort in the big 'uns is hard to beat too.You will enjoy!

Craig,
I thought they were going to charge me extra $ because my cheeks were biting into the seats the first time I went on a small aircraft (AKA flying cigar), hope you do it better than me mate
. I have jumped on all sorts of bad horses and bulls but they can keep the small aircraft. I'll drive if I can find a reasonable excuse to not show my cowardice
On the upside mate, I hope you enjoy your flight and get onto some longbow game 'in your spare time'.
Cheers... Rod

Thanks Fellas! Got back tonight, didn't get many pics as I didn't take a camera but a bloke out there had one so I got a few, post 'em up tomorrow. Not many pigs out there, but lots of wild dogs, apparently.
As for the flight, once the initial novelty wore off it was hours of noisy boredom! Those props are really loud! Bit lumpy on the landings (Toowoomba, Charleville, Quilpie, Windorah, Birdsville) but pretty much like being on a bus otherwise.
Wild little town, I fell into having a few with a bunch of blokes who had just ridden dirt bikes from Alice Springs and, boy, can those fellas play up once they set themselves to the task! I left them to it around midnight, and they were still going strong when I got up to answer natures call around 2am!
Anyways, I'm really tired so I'll fill you in a bit more tomorrow.
