FINNALLY

#1 Post by Roadie » Thu Jan 09, 2014 2:26 pm

At long Last, 0700hrs tomorrow I front up to the Mildura Hospital for my long awaited
Total Knee Replacement. Around this time last year I had work done on it, only to be told by the Surgeon my knee looked like a Bomb had gone off inside, as well as a Tsunami. So after All this time I hopefully will able to walk around without to much trouble or pain
I will be in hospital for the next 6 or so days. Cheers Roadie.

I hope your knee procedure achieves total success and that you're back on your feet and dancing before you know it. Good luck Roadie!
There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

Take it easy Grant. Sit back and relax, like the doctor says. You will be all the better for it.

Evening All, had the Staples (38) in all removed today, not the most pleasant of procedures. It hasn't been All plain sailing, just over a week ago, after I came home, 2 days later the Ambulance was called, and the next 72 hrs wasn't the most pleasant. Had to have second OP, straight away. Blood Clot and as the surgeon explained to me my Blood crystalized. Not great. Sick of taking Pills.
Now the fun part starting to learn to walk again and some Physio. Been told that I can't drive the Ute for at least 4 weeks. To those that have taken the time to ring me or send PM's, THANKS. Cheers Roadie.
