Happy 10th Birthday OZBOW !!!

#1 Post by Stickbow Hunter » Tue Jul 23, 2013 10:58 am

Today marks ten years since the Ozbow Campfire Forums were started thanks to the foresight of Erron Adams. There is no doubt Erron knew what a valuable resource the forums would become to Traditional Bowhunters and Archers in this country and those from overseas.

I'm sure most will agree that the forums have not only been a great place to discuss all things related to Traditional Bowhunting and Archery but also a central place to promote and report on Trad shoots throughout the country.

Most importantly however I feel it has been a place where we have all been able to help each other by sharing our knowledge and skills in Traditional Bowhunting and Archery and in the making of our own equipment. I am happy to say it has also been a place where many friendships have started.

Jude and I took over ownership of the site seven and a half years ago now and it has only been through the generous help of numerous people that we have been able to keep the site up and running. In case I miss someone I won't mention individual names but would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to everyone who has helped keep the site going over the years. My thanks also to you, the members, whom without the site would simply not exist. A special thanks to those who willingly share their knowledge with others, post stories and photos, ask questions and generally keep the site interesting for others to read.

I don't know about you but I enjoy being a part of the Ozbow Campfires and the "Passing on of our Traditional Bowhunting and Archery heritage".

Happy 10th Birthday OZBOW !!!

Jeff

I would personally like to give a well earned big thanks and express my gratitude to Jeff for keeping Ozbow going through difficult times. I couldn't have been able to gain the knowledge I may have now if not for Ozbow and its dedicated users. It has also allowed me at no cost to myself to display some of the bows I have made and for that alone i am eternally grateful. Muchas Gracious Amigo! :!: :!: :!:

Thanks to Jeff and Jude for all the hours and dollars they have sunk into it, and here's to the next ten! Happy Birthday Ozbow! :biggrin:

I thought Ishi started Ozbow! :biggrin:

Good job, all!
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.
