Just curious

General discussions. Politics, scuttlebutt, whatever: you're getting married, changing jobs, got a gripe or a compliment, dying to get out with the bow etc.....

Just curious

#1 Post by Gringa Bows » Sun Jan 20, 2013 6:43 pm

i was just sitting here having a quiet one,and thjinking how cool it would be to have an Ozbow stubbie cooler for my beer and be wearing an Ozbow shirt.......so how many members would be interested in having a t shirt or stubbie cooler,if theres enough people we might be able to convince Jeff to look into getting them done........profits would help him cover the costs of running the site

I'm in, if you got the shirts in a couple of different colours, I'd get more
At least 1 of each, if T-shirts, I'd get a couple at least. And as has been said, pay up front.

as long as the shirt has a collar and a pocket.

Yeah mate but we would want a LOT more for it be be worthwhile doing because of screen setup and printing costs and postage etc. We will see how much interest there is first before I commit to doing any.

I'd be up for 2 of each. Like Daryl and Roadie I'd prefer a collared shirt with pocket. Would be happy to pay up front too.

Cheers........ Rod

I'm in for both, but no collar or pocket for me, I'm far too common for that!

Yer... I hear ya Craig. I could get by without the pocket but I have far too much sun damage to go without a collar...... I'd even opt for long sleeves it was available, I wear them all year round unless for sun protection (unless I'm in the shed then a Jackie Howe will do nicely  ). Truth is I hate the bit at the front of tee-***** across the neck due to having so many barnacles there..... Perhaps a "grandpa style" tee-shirt with a button up front at the neck would be popular? Be ideal for knockin' around the shed 8) Maybe even a vee neck tee-shirt? If not, it wouldn't be the first time I've cut a normal tee shirt down the gullet to give me some room

Cheers Rod.

For me I prefer the collar and pocket mainly due to the fact that in my travells a lot of places I go to, clubs etc prefer them over just a T shirt. During the Day ok maybe, but at night a lot of places have a pretty strict Dress code. Just my thoughts on it . Cheers Roadie.

Having some shirts with collars and some without won't be a problem I don't think. The biggest issue will be getting enough orders to make it worthwhile regarding costs as I'm sure none of us would pay $50.00 or whatever for a shirt which it could be with a small run. Jude and I can't afford to carry the cost of a bigger run in the hope we might be able to sell them later. Quite frankly just the hosting costs of the forum are becoming a problem let alone any extra outlay.

Anyway we will see if we can get enough orders so that the costs per shirt are reasonable. Also if anyone is in the industry or knows of a good place to get the shirts and stubby coolers done please let me know.

action graphics up here at Dalveen would be worth a call Jeff. John Ursem was into archery and also Aaron Tomkins, who works for John is still into it, albeit with one of those space invader thingos . cheers Kerry
