New to Forum and Looking for some Help with Trad
Hi All,
This is my first post here. I've been a member over at the Australian Bow Hunting Forum for about 7 months.
I took up bow hunting around 8 months ago and have become mildly obsessed. As part of this journey (which started with a compound), I picked up a recurve a couple months back and have really enjoyed it.
I am not sure if I can attribute it to my Apache heritage, but I really enjoy what I have experienced with trad so far (I have yet to hunt with one) and want to take it up a notch. To this end, I was wonder if anyone out there could point me to some good instruction (with hunting as the end game) in the traditional space (instinctive).
Any advice or if you can point me to a good coach, even better.
Based on someone's recommendation I have just ordered Masters of Barebow (the whole series), but it is no substitute for getting some good direct guidance.
All thoughts welcome.
Cheers, JBM

Hi JMBOZ
Welcome to the forum! You have come to the right place for excellent advice on all things trad! I am in a similar position to you so I wouldn't be the person to offer any advice at this stage.
Tell us about your recurve?
Cheers

Welcome to Ozbow JBM. If you let us know where you live we might be able to suggest a Trad club near you or some of the members may live near you and be able to assist you.

Hi Matt
Sounds great. Thanks.
How can I best get in touch to get some more detail on the club and some instruction?

JMBOZ,
I live a suburb away in Northcote .
Inner city trad archers are few and far between eh !
Masters of the Barebow is a great place to start ,IMHO , particularly no 3 !
