BTW Eddie did a terrific job of making the bows available to all to shoot as well as taking care of them.
A fuller opinion on the bows soon. Did I mention that the Raptor is BLOODY FANTASTIC!

Thanks Troy, Glad you like it, I only got to shoot it for a couple of months before I injured my shoulder but I was beginning to prefer it to the MC2 also. I think it's the power to weight ratio that got me  . Really looking forward to being able to shoot it again.

Good to hear the positives but I also NEED to hear the negatives because they are the things I can fix. Don't be affraid to say what you didn't like about them, I can take it I'm a big boy.

Thanks again for the support Eddie you obviously did a great job, I wont foget that if you ever order a bow.

So Nanango is the final offer hey

Cheers, Rob.

Hope they get to Barambah as I'd love to see Rob's work in the 'Flesh' so to speak.

I will be going to both shoots but will pass them on to nuts at Barambah if he would like to take them on to Glady.
When are you getting to Barambah nutgrass?
I may not be there all weekend.

These bows are going further than Rob does on his holidays

Gotta see the next bunch of pickies from the next shoot, no worries though 'NUTS" won't let the team down!

Righto you lot, I have these flatliners in my possession. Pm me if you want a shot this week or up untill Wednesday next week. After then they will be with me in Gladstone for the muster.
If you want a go at the muster, I will have them at the practice range regularly, if I am not there, just track me down (ask someone, I'm hard to miss) & we can get them back there. 8)

What was the plan with them at the muster ? Was I passing them on to someone ?

What with one thing or the other I never managed more than a fleeting glimpse of the bows at Barambah, and unable to go to the muster so I guess I'll not have another look.Pity

Been real busy of late, haven't loged on lately, good to hear you all had a great shoot, wish I could have been there.
I'm going to be working out of town during the week for the next three months and will only be home on the weekends so communications may be a little slow for a while.

Thanks for the promo Nutgrass, way to go 8).
Unless there's another shoot between Gladstone and Cairns in the next month and you can pass them on to someone who's going to it, then just send them back home. I'll PM you my details and just let me know how much the postage is and I'll fix you up for it.

Thanks again Eddie for looking after them and getting them safely to the next leg of there journey.

I have been shooting my 42# MC2 for the last few weeks when I get the chance, and the shoulder is holding out so far, I'm hanging out to shoot that Raptor again to make sure my memory of the way it shoots wasn't a dream.

Some feedback good or bad on the bows would be great.

Cheers, Rob.

Hey Steve, good to hear from you and thanks for the offer to bring them back up to God's own country. I've been trying to gather info on the mid-year trad shoot at Tully but haven't been able to get any firm answers on weather it's even on this year, let alone dates for it.
But if you want to pick them up from Nutgrass at the muster and bring them up to Townsvile and take them to a local shoot or two at your club so some of those slacksters that never make it to Tully can have a go, that would be great. If it turns out the Tully shoot isn't on then I'll fix you up for the postage to get them back to me if we don't catch up.

Cheers, Rob.

Hi Rob, well mate I got to see your bows in my hands last night at the Muster, didnt get to have a shot as it was very late and I had a few brews under my belt. Just wanted to let you know that the workmanship and attention to detail in the finished product of your take down and one piece bows is second to none. I dont think I have seen such detail in a timber bow before, well done, please keep it up and I look forward to having a shot one day. All the best mate.
