Hey, speaking of seniors cards, this is a true story. Yesterday Sharon and I were in Hungry Jacks at Victoria Pt and once we had ordered, as I went to pay the girl behind the counter looked me right in the eye and said " Do you get a seniors concession?" :surprised: :surprised:
She must have noticed the look on my face because she started back tracking pretty quick!
Lately, if life were treating me any better, I'd be suspicious of it's motives!

Wait to you get a prescription at the chemist, and when you are signing for it, the girl helpfully mentions the day's date and then adds the month and even worse the bloody year.I was too amazed to really express my 'appreciation' of her helpfulness.I know that some elderly do have trouble but I would suggest that the salesperson at least wait until it is obvious that said customer is having trouble. I just felt patronized even though i have no doubt she only thought she was being helpful. That my gripe for the day. Gawd your looking haggard these days Morton!

Well boys and girls what can I say but age is the great leveller, for those of us that have reached the milestone of a seniors card I say live each day like theres no tomorrow, and the best advice last, dont do today what you can put of till tomorrow, cause theres huntin to be done.
