My Boys...

#1 Post by blu-dog » Thu Jan 05, 2012 11:00 pm

My youngest son got his first longbow for Christmas...complete with leather hip quiver, a dozen arrows, arm guard and glove - the complete kit. And he is rapt!!!

Gidget has given us a target butt to punch a few holes in and we've been having a blast!

I'm looking forward to getting back into some club shoots so I can spend some more time with my boys, sharing a common interest! (I think the competition is going to be fierce! :lol: )

...yes, Kimall and Chucker....it's a Gringa!!! Gee I'm impressed with how the arrows flick out of such a small bow! 15@20

Top stuff mate and great to see!!! :biggrin: I hope you get to spend many hours of fun with the boys.

I really like that last photo of Josef where he has just released - great shot. :smile:

It's good to see both boys know the proper side to shoot their arras from also. :mrgreen:

Good stuff, Paul!
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

That's a lovely Christmas gift.

Could you post more detailed pics of the bow and how long is it?

Love it.

Can't wait for my two boys to get a little older.

Huxley will start coming to a couple of shoots this year with me to get him into the camping and away from mum stuff. I'm very excited about that.

Cheers
