Didn't get out for the fallow rut at all this year, but came across a red stag during a post rut wander.
As he was only a young 4x4, I was happy to sneak in and get some pics and very shaky video
When he propped broadside at 30m for about 2 minutes I reeled off a fair few pics, but alas his big brothers, Uncles and dad were not around that day. Here's hoping for this year.
Managed to get within 45m of a young sambar stag, but lost him in the dogwood and no shot presented itself. Hopefully I can get out bush this year and break the deer hoodoo.
