1st time poster from across the pond

General discussions. Politics, scuttlebutt, whatever: you're getting married, changing jobs, got a gripe or a compliment, dying to get out with the bow etc.....

1st time poster from across the pond

#1 Post by Mudd » Wed Oct 12, 2011 10:00 pm

Good evening folks!

Actually it's about 10 til 7am here but I saw by your time you maybe thinking about shuffling off to get your beauty sleep.

My name is Mudd and I've been told that "I'd talk to a door knob".

I'm no spring chicken, in fact I feel like I've been around since "Moby Dick" was in a fish bowl.

I went through about every style bow on the market and some that never made it to the market to get to where I finally settled on what works for me.

Now the majority of the bows I own and shoot are long deep cored sweet shooting Hill style bows.

I look for to doing some reading on the adventures of some brothers of the bow from Ozland.

God bless,Mudd

G'day Mudd and welcome to Ozbow. We are a much smaller community than Trad Gang but I hope you enjoy visiting.

Hill style bows; way to go!!!

We nearly lost the entire site a few weeks ago due to a major oversight on our hosts part and we are still trying to get things back together. Unfortunately a large percentage of the photos are missing but we are hoping to get them back in time. I hope you still enjoy having a look around.

I'm up late because beauty sleep hasn't seemed to have helped me much.

Howdy Mud, I am still new myself but welcome. Lots of good info here, I have spent many a late night recently going through posts. I also have been into archery for many years but just of late picked up a recurve.

Cheers Macca
