Getting a bit excited

General discussions. Politics, scuttlebutt, whatever: you're getting married, changing jobs, got a gripe or a compliment, dying to get out with the bow etc.....

Getting a bit excited

#1 Post by memo » Sat Sep 10, 2011 12:04 am

Just got an email from "Big Jim" saying that my thunderchild is in his next batch of bows being made. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

That is good news. I've heard nothing but good about him and his bows. Similar to Shrew and Kanati, eh? I'm looking-forward to your report and the photos. What specifications?
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

The waiting is hard no doubt. :lol: Don't forget the photos when it arrives.

What an unique looking grip, it looks a bit like a Supershroo. I didn't know a thing about this one until you posted its name.

Nice bow mate, you must be hanging to have a shot :D

Politics is a game played by dishonest people to gain an unfair advantage!

Never under estimate the strength of a cornered coward.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

Cheers Fellas,
Yes it has been a long wait, but on the home stretch now. Have gone with Walnut riser and Tiger Myrtle limbs. It will be 58" and #58 @ 30". I like the lines of the bow, and if you look at his slideshow, there are some incredible looking bows on it. Don't worry, there will be plenty of pics posted when it arrives.
