Around Berry

#1 Post by Sparra » Mon Jun 20, 2011 5:43 pm

I was driving home down from the state of origin on Thursday morning after NSW won...We were not too far from Berry and in the middle of nowhere about 50m from the road there were about a dozen deer in the paddock...It was about 11.30..I didn't see too much of them but my wife gave me the count and said there were some good racks amongst them...I am assuming they were Russa but is there anyone else who may know whats around the area...

Good stuff Sparra. Maybe someone else can chime in with some more info.

Just be aware there are deer farms around the place too.

G'day Tom..I did see about 3 or 4 about six months back in a paddock about half a k from this one...At the time I thought I was seeing things and didn't think anymore of it...Where this lot were didn't look like deer farm paddocks...There were cattle in there as well and the fences were the normal low farm fences...Maybe someone can shed some light...

Sparra, it sounds like a potential spot! Maybe you could try some door knocking.
