Bloody hell, Tony. You're having a rough time of it. All the best in getting to Isa and a fix.
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

You are having a rough trot mate; I hope you can get it sorted quickly in the Isa.

Mate, here's to hoping the rest of your trip is peril free! You certainly have paid your dues for this trip and deserve a bit of peace! If I were a more superstitious man I'd say something was trying to tell you something, but I'm not so I say just plough on through this extraordinary confluence of events and you'll get to the light at the end of the tunnel! :)
Once your family is settled in, give me a yell sometime and come on over to see the island, if you have little kids it's a perfect spot to take them for a swim. No surf and it's fairly flat and shallow on the front beach, a very "family freindly" place. :)
Lately, if life were treating me any better, I'd be suspicious of it's motives!

See if you can find a donkey or pig to shoot while you wait, eh, Tony!

It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

I don't know; MICC and gentleman in the one sentence maybe taking it a bit too far. :wink: :lol: I just got off the phone talikin' with him. I must say, don't go believin' those lies he would have told ya about me. :D

Have a safe trip and trouble free trip the rest of the way mate.

Travel safely for the last leg of your journey mate!

I hope your last leg goes well for you mate, you've had enough strife for this year already. I stopped in Barcauldine one night about 20 years ago and a lovely old dear at the pub told me to to keep an eye open for the echidna parade. There were droves of them marching across the whole area about an hour after dark, must have been travelling to water I reckon (or to the pub :lol: ). Never seen anything like it. I ran over a carcass of one on a one lane bridge a couple of years before that and did front and back off-side tyres in (they were nearly new too) on my holden ute.

Cheers.... Rod
