The reason i hate poachers..

#1 Post by wayoutwest » Mon Jan 03, 2011 8:46 pm

Went out for a look at one of my goat places on sunday and found that some lowlife maggots had been out to my favourite mill and went silly with a rifle this is what i found...

All up i found 4 intact goats and the remains of 3 that had been gutted and one poor old Emu, judging by the tracks and the condition of the goats we only missed them my 2 or 3 hours.

That sucks. You could kind of justify killing feral goats, but the emu - that is just sick. Even if you are trying to rid the country of feral animals, you could at least remove the carcases and tidy the place up somewhat.

:x

I agree mate, I have no time for poachers  Low life scum bags.

Every dog has their day mate, it's just a shame we aren't around to see it most of the time :(

Shooters get to 50m to shoot, but only a hunter gets inside 20m to hunt.

All one can do is just shake your head. It would be one thing if they need the meat for food but that is just useless.

At our home property we have trouble with doggers. They don't even bother to use the gate, easier to cut the fence!

Man! I can really understand your frustration mate, I'd be bloody ropeable!! To cut your fence is just flat out wrong!! :x :x Don't these idiots realise if there is a fence, there is a reason for the fence? Did any of your stock get out because of these fools?

Yes it is amazing how many of the young LOCAL yahoos have small regard for their neighbours properties. The amount of cockies I have spoken to over the years that have regular hit and run spotlighters trespass and shoot on their properties is very surprising.

Spotlighters are easy. Some trace in the old 303 sent off in their rough direction works wonders :)

As for the fence cutting we don't even lock the gates any more but they still cut the fence and as they don't mark themselves with spotlights they are harder to do anything about. Bit scarey when you are out on the horse with a sheepdog and get confronted by a couple of pig dogs. Not a thing you can do................

Yes mate,

Pig dogs are just a mongrel menace...shooting them is an opportunity not to be missed.

Tend not to carry any rifles on the horses. Pity when you turn up a couple of mongrels.
