What is your preferred weight in a glue on broadhead
I'm curious to see what weight glue on broadheads most people prefer to hunt with.
Three things you can never take back, time past, an angry word and a well sped arrow

1st to vote awsome.I like the idea of the heavier heads as I put them on carbons and it gives a bit more choice for FOC and total arrow weigth.
Cant wait to get some of these been shooting the others from the compound for years.
Cheers KIM

I suppose I stick with the lighter weight broadheads and field points because I'm predominantly a small game hunter and these lighter arrows perform excellently in this role. They work very well, in my limited experience, with larger game like goats, as well. My hunting arrows weigh in at about 550 grains, so I suppose you could say, they're of a medium weight overall.
I have used heavy hunting arrows in the past and they flew beautifully. I was surprised at just how well they performed. They didn't require any drastic alterations to the way I needed to shoot, in order to hit my target at close ranges. I will probably go down this road again one day in the future, particularly if I'm planning to hunt sambar or big pigs. It would make sense to make up a set of practice arrows with the same weight field points as the broadheads. I realise field points and broadheads don't shoot exactly the same, but at least they're similar.

There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.
