Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall is taking a bunch of squeamish city folk who can't cook, and presented them with a brace of gutted bunnies. TOO funny watching them trying to skin them without actually touching them with their hands.
"So we're just taking the coat off?" says one girl. Hehehehehe.
I was hoping to get a decent recipe out of it, but needless to say, the non-cooks didn't make a very good go of it! So I had to go hunting for Hugh's own rabbit stew recipe. I'm hoping to use this on one of our resident bunnies at some stage

Which cuts of the bunny do you use Tony? Or do you split them in half, like Portuguese chicken? It sounds delicious, as does the red wine stew! Half the bottle for the pot, half for the chef?tjensen wrote:Longclaw,
Marinated in a spicy chilli sauce and thrown quickly onto a hot BBQ is always a nice option but I am very partial to a red wine rabbit stew!

I did the Rabbit with tomato and rosemary a few weeks ago and everyone in our house loved it. I did change it abit, I used a whole bottle of red wine and slow cooked it for 7 hours.
