Croc tail

#1 Post by piggy » Sat Apr 21, 2007 8:39 pm

One of my customers deals in game meats and gave me 2kg of croc tail and some other fine meats.
Any ideas on how prepare and cook it ?

Cheers

Paul

Half ya luck, enjoy.

I've had BBQ'ed crock before it was done in a light marinaid of some sort and was yummy as.

What other meats did he give you?

croc meat

Ole -silver is spot on in how to cook croc and being a very bland meat you can spice it up with your particular choice of spices and you only need to cook it a minute either side at the max. I don't eat the stuff as I work on the principal that if I don't eat croc, they may not eat me.
