Gladstone "Muster Knife"
Here are the pics of it all finished and with the sheath.I feel it has turned out ok and I think it will make a good raffle prize for someone.I have left it a bit plainer than some I make as not everyone likes file work or a flash sheath so have kept it all low key to hope to appeal to everyones tastes. The blade is just over 4 inches(110mm) with an overall length of the knife being 9 inches. The steel is 1095 hand forged from an old saw mill blade and in the past has made blades that have performed very well in the field. The handle is Zebra wood and quila(SP) with brass pins and home made mosac pins of wire cable and carbon arrow shaft and the spacers on the handle are black and white bow glass.I wont be able to make it to the Muster now myself so it will be going in the mail to soon to the boys in Gladstone.Any questions please ask and make sure you guys buy heaps of tickets to support the club.
Cheers KIM.......

Re: Gladstone "Muster Knife"
Ay Kim i missed that bit, waddaya mean your not going to the Muster now how am i going to woop your score if your not there
Re: Gladstone "Muster Knife"
Thanks guys for all the comments.
With just moving into the new house and getting these knives done I am very time poor.If I was to go I would have to make arrows for myself and Maggie and I know this will not happen in time.I am however going for a hunt the week after the Muster so will not miss out all together.
Rod if you post ANY score you will beat any score I would have got.
Gene-O PM me your address please so I can send it up to you in time.
Cheers KIM

Great looking knife. One of your best IMO. I love the 3/4 sheath too. Very secure.

Re: Gladstone "Muster Knife"
Hey Rod, Cowboy has nominated so chances are that he will walk away from the raffle with the knife and a whole heap of other prizes too (as per normal!)
Maybe I should just write out his tickets for him and put my name instead

lucky bugger Lewis your smile when you won it was so big it must have hurt i think your dads smile was near as big looking forward to the stories about how good it skins ferals PS i like your new avatar
Re: Gladstone "Muster Knife"
That's a very nice Knife, congrats to both Lewis, for winning it, and to Kim for making such a great piece. It's almost Scandi-like with it's style of sheath and lack of secondary bevel, a style I admire a lot. Well done boys!
Lately, if life were treating me any better, I'd be suspicious of it's motives!
