sunday arvo blade

i sat down and did some chippin' today. i knocked out the biggest blade i've made so far. it's obsidian. i think i'll haft it to a goat horn.

Hey what about some axe heads or spear heads next ;-)

I actually had an old 1930's archaeology book containing some fantastic images of axeheads, left it in the UK when I moved here :-(

How did you cut your finger Clint? :D

The first (and last) time I attempted to knap some glass I ended up wearing lots of bandaids too. :D

I does look good though. I hope you post another photo after you have finished it. 8)

if i ever hunt with someone who has a video camera i'll get some footage for you.
