Did them in my forge.

Nice work Stewart.Very Bushcrafty
Is Ray Mears on Foxtel?
I borrowed three of his books from the Library hoping they would be interesting, i was very disappointed they were almost like coffee table books in their content. I had this expectation they would be far more informative.
Cheers TonyJ

Not on foxtel Tony, as far as I am aware.
Yep, Mears is very 'low key' and is very coffee table stuff ~ sort of homely.
Maybe you should get a copy of Bear Grylls books or DVD's. Bear is the other end of the spectrum!

Love your work Stewart. I have been preparing a couple of scandi blades today myself. I'll have to take some photos and post them up in a day or two. Mostly these days I am using imported blades because I am too busy to light up the forge.
Do you do any leatherwork to compliment these knives?
I bumped in to Ray Mears on the net about 3 weeks ago. He seems to have some pretty decent stuff. Where are you accessing his videos? Are any available in DVD format in Australia? I've been getting into the bushcraft side of life more than archery lately as the kids are still really too young to enjoy the archery like I do.

Thankyou.Steven J wrote:Love your work Stewart.
Yes, there might be photos below my signature block, they should show some knives with sheaths. I haven't made any "distinctive" Puuko sheaths yet.Steven J wrote:Do you do any leatherwork to compliment these knives?
